On our way to Brazos Bend State Park
Welcome to Brazos Bend State Park!
And just inside the gate we saw our first deer in the woods!
Lovely park, 32 degrees in the shade..
..but still airy along the river.
Moss hanging from the trees made me feel I was walking in an ancient park.
Parts of the river was stunningly beautiful
But what is it with all the signs? Alligators??
This over two meter long Alligator was trundeling along the road! A bit frightening I must say!
We were waiting for the sunset...
..taking pictures of the flora and fauna..
and ended up on one of our favourite restaurants, The Outback Steakhouse :-)
